Choir,  Here is additional information about the “Service of Healing” at the  Fairfax County Historic Courthouse:  4000 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, Va  (NOTE:  In case of rain, the event will take place at UUCF in Oakton).

Choir arrival time: Be in place no later than 6:30 p.m.  Carpool and allow time to find parking and get to the event site.

Event:  From 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Choir dress:  It is anticipated we will be outside, so we will put our scarves over our coats.  HOWEVER:  Please be prepared to wear concert dress if this should be moved to UUCF (rain location).

Parking:  Links to parking and general map are below:  However: It is quite a long walk from Courthouse Parking Garage B.  There are other parking locations near North street that are closer and are free.    The City of Fairfax Regional Library, highlighted below, may be the easiest to access and it’s FREE. 

  • City of Fairfax Regional Library, 10360 North Street (handicapped parking available) (accessible from University Drive and Old Lee Highway)

Parking for Courthouse: Public parking is available in Garage B located on Page Avenue, between West Street and Judicial Drive.

  • Cost is $2 per hour (or any portion thereof) up to a maximum of $10 per day.
  • You must pay before returning to your vehicle; there are no cashier booths at the exit gates.
    • Pay by cash or credit/debit card to the attendant on Level G.
    • Pay at one of the pay-on-foot stations on Level G or 4th floor of the garage.
  • Hours of operation: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. Parking is free outside of the hours of operation and on the weekends.
