Win-Win with Stock Donations!
Mosaic Harmony is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so when you make an unrestricted donation to us, you will avoid paying capital gains taxes. If you itemize deductions, you can deduct the full market value of the stock as a charitable contribution as long as you’ve held the stock for more than one year. If you’ve held the stock for one year or less, your deduction is limited to the amount you paid for the stock. This option is good for the giver, as well as for the organization! Consult your tax advisor for details. The MoHa Treasurer can provide more information about the process for donating stocks to MoHa. Contact the Treasurer at treasurer@mosaicharmony.org.
Donate with an IRA Charitable Distribution
People who are age 70 ½ or older can contribute up to $108,000 per year directly from their IRA to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization like Mosaic Harmony. This is known as a “qualified charitable distribution” and it counts as part of the required minimum distribution but does not count as taxable income. Consult your tax advisor for details.
Buy Concert Tickets
Buy tickets to our upcoming concerts: our Community Concert on March 28, 2026, and our annual spring concert, “Be Encouraged,” on June 20, 2026. Tickets make great gifts!!!

Volunteers are a pivotal part of our MoHa community. Write to info@mosaicharmony.org to ask about volunteer opportunities.
Mosaic Harmony is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (IRS tax ID 35-2392775). We subsist on donations from members and supporters, grants, as well as fundraising concerts. This support enables us to perform for 10-12 audiences each year. Of course, we’d love to be able to do more – to share our message with more and larger audiences, not just in the Washington metropolitan region, but around the country and around the world.
