Shana Spiegel, a choir member since 2002, began quilting in the late 1970’s. Her work has been displayed locally at Artistic Artifacts, Herndon ArtSpace, the annual Quilters’ Unlimited show in Chantilly and at the Sacred Threads show in Herndon, Virginia. Shana has also participated in the following projects that resulted in published books and nationally traveling exhibitions: “Inspired by the Beatles”, “Inspired by the National Parks”, and “HERstory Quilts”. Shana works as a pediatric occupational therapist and specializes in treating children with Sensory Processing Disorder.
